Shaktoolik drops 93 to punch another trip to the 1A title game
Scoring 72 points usually puts you in a good spot. Against Shaktoolik, it still might not be enough.
The defending 1A champs are headed back to the State Championship game after a 93–72 semifinal win over Walter Northway. Shaktoolik made school history in 2025 with the program’s first 1A state title — and the Wolverines followed it up with another high-octane statement to reach the final again.
Seth Paniptchuk led the way with 36 points as Shaktoolik hit 93 and kept pressure on the whole night.
Walter Northway brought real scoring too. Senior Terrence Titus finished with 32 points. Titus hit 3,000 career pointsin February and holds the Alaska state record with 82 points in a single game last season — and he showed up again on the semifinal stage.
