Preparing For Camp

Some things that might help. Take what you need.

MENTALITY:

Come into camp ready to learn and adjust your game. Don’t waste energy on comparisons or expectations — focus on building as a player and a person.

Clinics are about learning through hustle, mistakes, and questions. If something doesn’t make sense, ask. The more you ask, the more you’ll take away.

NOURISHMENT:

You’ll burn a lot of energy at camp — long days add up fast. Stay hydrated: aim for 10-12 oz of water between sessions. Skip the sugary stuff — water works best.

Eat well before, during, and after. Empty calories will drag you down. Fuel up with a good balance: protein, carbs, fruits, and vegetables.

Quick, Healthy Snacks:Smoothie with whey protein

Handful of almonds or walnuts

Veggies or rice cakes with hummus

Oatmeal with berries

Sliced fruit with peanut butter

Sleep matters too. Aim for 8-9 hours. Show up rested — that part’s on you.

CODE OF CONDUCT:

Every player at camp deserves respect — from trainers, teammates, and you.

Pick each other up. Compete hard. No going through the motions — that’s not why you’re here. Show up ready to work. Let your effort speak.

That’s it. Take what helps. It’s your game.
